Rosa Mexicano

Rosa Mexicano, or Mexican Pink, is an iconic color that represents Mexican culture and fashion. Inspired by the Bougainvillea flower, fashion designer Ramon Valdiosera first introduced Rosa Mexicano to the world in 1951 on the runway in New York City. It was a color that Valdiosera had seen in his travels through Mexico and was used in everything from indigenous clothing to architecture, and so much more. Rosa Mexicano has since become a color that embodies the happy, vibrant culture of Mexico.
